The Palm Springs Art Museum (also know as the Palm Springs Desert Museum) is a great place to enjoy contemporary and classic artworks, ancient civilization artifacts, local Native American history, and other desert and cultural art. In addition to offering permanent collections available for view year-round, the museum has unique exhibitions available at different time frames over the course of the year. This Saturday will  mark the 15th Annual Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in celebration 25 years of service by the Desert AIDS Project. The event will be held in the Palm Springs Convention Center with live entertainment, a silent auction, and will have celebrity presence.

Singer, pianist, songwriter and recording artist Tony DeSare will be performing live at the Annenberg Theater, located at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The Radio Show performance will be on Tuesday March 3, 2009 at 8:00 p.m according to a museum press release.
The Radio Show performance will feature American popular music and is inspired by Frank Sinatra’s radio broadcast recordings during World War II. DeSare’s show invokes the connection that an audience can have with different eras of music spanning from Classical to Contemporary Classics.
