28 April 2010 239 views No Comment

SingerOn May 2nd a feast for the ears is served for those who love beautiful music made even more thrilling when realized with a rich chorus of outstanding voices. The California Desert Chorale has been bringing beautiful music and singing to the desert communities for 15 years.

Now is a chance before summer arrives to hear the chorale perform music and songs ranging from classics by Franz Schubert to Broadway musical hit tunes to Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain.”

The Chorale is very involved in music education in the desert, and one example of their efforts will also perform: the California Desert Chorale Children’s Choir will also have an ensemble of strings and brass.

Take the  opportunity to hear the chorale on May 2nd at 3:00 p.m. hosted by Our Savior’s Church at 1020 E. Ramon Road in Palm Springs. Tickets are available at the door or from their website.
