With affluent part-time residents returning to the Coachella Valley for the coming season, one new senior residential community is experiencing high interest among snowbirds and out-of-towners.

Segovia, the new senior community setting the standard for five-star living in Palm Desert, reports that 25 percent of its reservations are from part-time residents with permanent homes outside the valley.

The community has also taken reservations from residents with primary homes throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Ventura County, and south Orange County.
